StopDrink Network has established partnership with international NGOs, local organizations and governmental agencies. Our collaborations with international partners are primarily focusing on advocacy of effective alcohol control policy based on scientific evidence at the regional and global levels.  In Thailand, we are working closely with our local partners to reach out and implement alcohol control campaigns in the community level.

International Partners

StopDrink Network works with several international partners and NGOs who share similar concerns and have no commercial interest. Our activities are for instance exchanging knowledge, co-hosting conferences and promoting alcohol control policies. We are actively involved in advocating for an adoption of effective alcohol control measures at the regional and global levels such as in a regional meeting of WHO and World Health Assembly.

Examples of corporative activities with international partners
Stopdrink Network is working closely with Global Alcohol Policy Alliance (GAPA) and Asia Pacific Alcohol Policy Alliance (APAPA). We co-hosted several meetings including an international conference in Thailand on Alcohol Policy in 2006. The conference participants were Government officials, NGOs, activists from 18 countries and WHO representatives. (For more detail on our cooperative projects please visit Press Release

In addition, our international partners have been giving supports to our activities. During our campaign on the first Alcohol Control Act in Thailand, they sent a letter expressed their support on the alcohol control bill to the president of National Legislative Assembly and Minister of Social Development and Human Security.
